- I'm not about to carefully research the history, but I will note that
- the "vuepad" text editor is based on the Motif text widget. The entire
- Motif look & feel was designed to be very close to IBM's CUA. It would
- not surprise me in the least of e.exe was looked at as a model for the
- text widget's behavior.
