  18. Contrary to popular belief, not all of us in HP have access to the
  19. latest and greatest stuff.  I downloaded a copy of the 9.0 release
  20. notes (kindly posted by someone at Mentor Graphics) from this very
  21. notes group.  I believe I read that applications compiled on HP-UX
  22. 8.0x can be run on HP-UX 9.0 without recompiling.  This seems to be
  23. confirmed by some folks in Fort Collins but... (and this is a BIG BUT!)
