- environment: an HP 9000/710, 48mb, HP-UX 8.07a
- a Tektronix XP338 xterminal, served by the HP.
-
- when one certain user logs in (with csh as his default), he doesn't get the
- xload plot on his window manager bar. Everything else (xclock, etc.) seem ok.
- Other users logging on thru the same Xterminal do get xload.
-
- he did -not- have a custom vuewmrc file (he does now, no improvement).
- his current/errorlog file gave no hints (at least that looked understandable).
- his startup screen includes an xterm.
- he -can- run xload as an application (private window appears).
-
- any hints?
