- I recently bumped into this problem. What I had done was added an alias
- for the machine in the /etc/hosts file, but I placed the alias in front
- of the regular hostname. So, on machine X I had
- 128.128.128.128 Y X

- when I switched it to
- 128.128.128.128 X Y

- things went back to normal. Hope that helps.
