  13. One simple possibility is that the size of the message being sent from
  14. the Sun box is larger than the size of the receiving socket on the HP
  15. box. You can use getsockopt to retrieve the sizes and setsockopt to
  16. set them. I believe that the default for UDP is somewhere around +-9K.
