- I have a pretty basic problem (which is not in the FAQ):
-
- I'm sitting in front of a Sun/DEC/Mips/IBM, running X.
-
- I use xterms.
-
- I rlogin into an HP 9000/710.
-
- When I login to the HP, my $TERM and $term variables
- are set to `xterm'. But neither my back space key,
- nor vi work.
-
- Obviously, `stty' and `tset' are different. Maybe even
- termcap? Can someone provide me with a short answer.
- Even your .login file would do.
-
- Thanks!
