  16. I am having many problems with softdebug (GUI 
  17. for xdb) on an HP 9000/710.  For some reason,
  18. if I have a structure pointer, I cannot
  19. do this:

  23. It always says it is a NULL_SYMBOL.  Is there 
  24. some compiler option I need to put in?  
  25. Currently, I am compiling with "-g -Aa -D_HPUX_SOURCE".

  27. Alternatively, has GDB been ported to the HP?  It
  28. looks like they have started, but I tried to 
  29. get GDB 4.6 running and the configuration script
  30. bombed out.
