- It's certainly possible to turn a client into a standalone system. All
- you must do is boot it from a local system disk instead of the server,
- either a disk that already exists, or go through the installation
- process. There's no need to even remove the client from the server
- until you're sure it will never again boot as a client.

- for SCSI versus HPIB disks.
