  11. Simple question about non-simple (CCITT) terminal line settings:

  13. How can I change the MTCONNECT *default* modem timer value ???

  15. In CCITT mode the CONNECT timer value defaults to 25 seconds and
  16. cannot be changed permanently by building a new kernel
  17. .. or can it ?

  19. When your (answering) modem cannot make the connection in 25 seconds
  20. the connection is broken. Users calling in don't appreciate that.
