- I see nothing blatantly commercial about ranking the performance
- of the workstations available on the market today, especially if done
- by a non-financially-involved third party. This sort of ranking is
- frequently posted to the net, but usually not in such a comprehensive
- listing. (You did mean _all_ current workstations, and not just
- HP, right?)

- An appropriate forum for such a ranking might be comp.benchmarks,
- where such things have been posted in the past. Just be prepared to
- get e-mail telling you how meaningless the performance ratings (MIPS,
- SPECint92, etc.) are.
