- I am missing something here.....
-
- I have 'all' privileges (with the exception of bypass). I have set default to
- the dqs$server default directory. I want to print the netserver.log.
-
- "$ print/queue=test/form=psp80 netserver.log", I say.
- (psp80 = ASCII 80 col format for my postscript symbiont)
-
- The printer 'processing' light blinks happily for a bit, the queue tells me
- that the document is printing, the light stops blinking and everything is
- back at idle. A show queue tells me the document is 'retained on completion'.
-
- All the equipment is happy, but NO PRINTOUT !!
-
- Now, if I copy the document to another disk, I can then print it with all the
- same attributes and everything happens INCLUDING a printout appearing...
-
- One more tidbit. If I set default to sys$manager, I can print some files and
- not print some files. No matter who the owner is. (With all priv I didn't
- think it would matter anyway.)
-
- This problem (I believe) is affecting my using the dqs. The file is transferred
- to the server correctly, the server thinks the file gets printed, and everyone
- is happy, but NO PRINTOUT !!.
