- Hi,
-
- I have heard a rumor that DEC has a system they supossedly call ETV
- which gives ethernet connectifity over "normal" cable TV networks.
- I would like any information there is on any system that delivers this kind of
- connectifity, asspecialy I would like to know the following things:
-
- How is the connection with the pc? (ie ISA-board, rs232, ethernetcard+special
- "modem", other)
-
- What kind of performance (throughput etc) are we talking about?
-
- What are the limitations (distances, numbers, etc)
-
- Any other systems then DEC?
-
- People to talk to about these systems (Manufacturers, Dealers etc or
- with hands on experiance, users).
-
- Awaiting any information with eager anticipation....:-)
