- I apologize to everyone out there in Net world. My news reader was having a bad
- case of multiple personalities on Friday, so if this has already been posted
- and I don't know it, blame the reader, not me. :)
-
- I recently have found a problem that I haven't encounted too much in the past.
- It is on the topic of Software in the Commodore Classifieds. If there is
- enough support for such a thing I may produce a Classifieds for software
- as well and make it part 2.
-
- But I ask everyone this.
-
- I have heard some people in support of this. But I know that there are some
- people against it. However, such a service may help as well. The complaint I
- know some people have is that it takes up bandwidth. And although it is
- but one message, it happens to be a large one. The other alternative though
- is to allow people to post individually their software to a smaller audeince
- so therefore they may have to post it multiple times. So the question is
- which is the lesser of two evils.
-
- Personally I would like to see people be able to sell their Commodore and
- Amiga software as well as the hardware. Now it needs to be non-pirated items
- and the like but I talked to another friend of mine and we talked about how
- I am not the mediator of these sales but rather the inital connection. (Any
- lawyers out there who are good at settling such issues?) So I am interested
- in doing the Commodore Classifieds Software version, but what support is
- out there?
-
- That is why I am writing this. Would anyone out there for it OR against it
- please send a message telling about your choice. I am VERY interested in
- hearing both sides.
-
- But unfortunately for right now, the Commodore Classifieds is still Hardware
- only. (This includes books since they aren't exactly software either...)
-
- Thanks for all of the support I have gotten on this production...
