  9. ATTENTION: anyone interested in really learning about the C64 and C128!
  10. One of the best, if not the best, publications regarding Commodore
  11. computers has to be Transactor.  Transactor does not assume you are
  12. computer illiterate like most magazines.  It does not spend a lot of its
  13. time reviewing games and the latest word processors.  Transactor is a
  14. magazine for the hard core hacker; someone who wants to know the hardware
  15. and kernal at a detailed level.  Its articles are usually very technical
  16. but very rewarding.

  18. In these issues, you will learn about the major chips inside your
  19. computer and how to program them to exploit their features.  You will
  20. learn how build circuits and write software to interface your computer
  21. to the outside world.  You will learn the ins and outs of using the
  22. Kernal ROM in your assembly language programs.  Etc. Etc.  I could go
  23. on and on -- glancing down at some of the theme topics below will give
  24. you some idea of the kinds of things covered.

  26. I have 31 Transactor magazines for sale.  I would like to sell them all
  27. together as a set.  At a cover price average of about $3.25, this would
  28. run over $100.  I will sell them all as a set for $40 plus postage.  They
  29. are all in good condition.  If you are interested, please respond by email.

  31. Here is a list of the Transactor Magazines that I have.  The ones that
  32. say Misc.  Topics also have very good articles; they just don't have a
  33. unifying theme.  The ones that say Undated really have no date anywhere
  34. on the magazine (that I can find).  :-)
