- I'm interested in figuring out how long a run I can make from my 3B2.
- Hopefully, I can pull about 75 feet of cable from a terminal to the
- main machine - can the 3B2 drive a line this long? Our old VAX 780
- handles lines over 13 stories long :-)
-
- BTW: does anyone out there have a source for CHEAP RJ-45 cables
- that'll work on a 3B2? I don't have access to the crimp connector, so
- making my own is effectively out of the question. How about those
- terminal adapters? I foud the "make 'em yourself" variety for about
- $5 each. Anybody know of a more reasonable price? Of course, buying
- from AT&T is probably insane.
-
- Any help would be appreciated.
