  14. Actually, it sounds like you are at the perfect place to run ICDs
  15. hard disk formatter. The first thing that the program will show you
  16. is all of the devices it can find. It will display the name of the
  17. device next to the SCSI ID. Since it obtains the name from the
  18. devices itself will be testing your cable at that time.

  20. Unless this drive was formatted on an ST/STe/TT you most likely will
  21. not get a hard drive icon until you have formatted and partitioned
  22. the drive.

  24. Again it sounds like you need to run the formatting program to start
  25. verifying your setup.
