  19. Pete, as a minimum, you would need the new 1.44 drive mechanism, TOS 2.06,
  20. a TOS adapter kit (like the CodeHeads TEC or similar), an AJAX chip (disk
  21. controller) and other stuff I'm sure.  Also, unless you get the specific
  22. Epson model drive mech, you'll have to do some surgery on your 520 case to 
  23. allow for the disk eject button to fit.  I'm not a hardware guru so others
  24. here could give you more specific details.

  26. I can give you advice, however... don't do it.  If you have your heart set on
  27. a hi-density drive, then just buy a MegaSTe or wait for the Falcon.

  29. BTW, you most likely have TOS 1.0 in your early 520ST.
