- Can someone help me with a problem I have using fontgdos.
-
- I have a copy of Timeworks DTP (the complete version 1 given on the cover disk
- of AtariST review). I have tried to make it work with fontgdos, and my BJ10ex
- printer. My problem is that immediately after I finish printing a document,
- drive A is accessed and then the machine freezes displaying 4 bombs. The
- printed document is perfect but I can't continue afterwards unless I reboot
- first. Can anyone suggest what is wrong and how I might fix it. If I use
- gdos and the gdos epson printer.sys then the thing works ok but the printed
- documents are only at 180dpi and I'd like both better quality and to make use
- of fontgdos.
-
- To use printer fonts that are 360dpi, I have setup Timeworks using the 360dpi
- fonts for NEC printers and used the BJ10e printer.sys from the fontgdos
- package. My fontgdos bitmap cache is 400K. My system has no HD, only 2
- double sided floppy drives. The startup files are in drive A and the
- fonts/documents are on drive B (I have a 2.5Mb Atari 520 STFM with TOS 1.2).
-
- I'd prefer email responses as I don't always get time to read this newsgroup.
