  12. I have a problem with my Wangtek 5150ES and my Atari ST (host adapter is ICD
  13. Advantage-Plus ST). On the same SCSI bus is a 105 MB Quantum drive that works
  14. just fine.

  16. Using the TAPETEST program that comes with TAPEBIOS it appears that I can
  17. write to the tape (I verified that on a SUN Sparc), but I cannot read! When I
  18. do a read, the tape moves (so the command apparently makes it to the drive),
  19. but the TAPEBIOS software hangs waiting for a status byte. After a couple of
  20. minutes the software times out, but the SCSI bus is still busy (I can no
  21. longer access the disk drive). The data buffer in ST memory has not been
  22. written to (still filled with zeroes).

  24. Do you have an idea what is wrong here? Is my software broken? Did I
  25. misconfigure the drive?
