- For h-lines, yes, but for sprites, I have my doubts - so much can be done by exploiting
- the separation of the bit-planes - as you can see by what the Demo programmers do. When
- you have 8 bitplanes, it actually becomes useful in general (and 16-bitplanes would be
- even better). But yes, 1 word/pixel is the Right Choice for the True Colour mode.
