- I bought my SIMMs and they work. My configuration is:

- bank 1 2x1 meg 80ns 8 bits (8x1mbit)
- bank 2 2x1 meg 70ns 9 bits (3x3mbit)

- conclusion: any combination of anything will work. The 9 bit chips are cheaper
- than the 8 bits anyway. Still it feels a bit strange to have 256K in your
- computer that's just there for nothing (or for IBM, in a way, but what's the
- difference).
