- Your TOTALY wrong!!
-
- The only tru statement is that the 68030 runs at 32Mhz!!
-
- The TT-RAM is 32 bit wide and is clocked by a 16 mhz clock. Synchronous
- transfer and burstmode combined with the internal cache of the cpu gives
- it a resonable, but not maximized, performance!
-
- The ST-ram is 64 BIT wide, but the CPU accesses it through a 32 bit bus.
- the videoshifter accesses the ST (video) ram on a 64 bit bus (that's why they
- can rip a 110mhz pixel clock off 100ns RAM-cips, which would be impossible
- on a 32 bit bus).
- The TOS-ROMs is also 32 bit wide (thats why there are 4 of those 256k*8bit
- EPROMS in it)!
-
- All other ST/STE/MSTE compatible hardware is 16 or 8 byte wide, and so is
- also most of the TT spesific hardware that is not mentioned above!
-
- I have taken this information from the schematics of the TT, so there should be
- no doubt about it beeing correct!
