- Amiga was the name of the company that made the Amiga computer. i
- believe they were under contract to Atari to produce a video game
- system. somewhere along the line Commodore bought them and it was
- turned into a computer. Atari later sued & got a cash settlement.
-
- i picked up an original Amiga joystick a few years ago at a garage
- sale for $2. it's a tiny little black thing with a red stick that's
- about the size of a big toggle switch. still works, even after logging
- hundreds of hours on Silkworm IV. best joystick i've ever owned &
- considering the way it's designed i don't expect to have to replace
- it anytime in the next 10 years. (unless i get a Falcon with those
- funky new keypad things.)
