- Back in the days of the 8-bit, Compute was great! I learned a
- heck-of-lot about
- computers and programming by typing in Compute program listings and then
- debugging
- and/or enhancing the code. It may have been BASIC, but I learned enough
- to land
- a programming job with only one computer class in college (FORTRAN; EE major).
