- Hi,
-
- For those who downloaded the beta version of GS 2.52 only to find out
- that 8-bit color didn't work, there is now a new executable on
- lifshitz.ph.utexas.edu (/pub/atari/ghostscript/beta/gsfix.zoo) that has
- at least one 8-bit bug fixed. The archive containing GS support files
- also contains the updated executable. So, if you tried 8-bit color and
- got two bombs, you might want to try again. Due to the fact that I
- cannot test 8-bit color on my ST, I still don't know whether this fixed
- code works.
-
- Also, GS 2.52 contains a fax driver which I modified slightly to produce
- (supposedly standard) G3 format. I would like to hear whether anyone
- is able to use this output.
