- Just a quick couple of questions:
-
- 1) Did you ask your systems Postmaster what the error messages included with
- the rejected e-mail message implied?
-
- 2) Did you ask your systems Network Administrator if there were problems with
- the international connections between New Zealand and the United States
- during that time period?
-
- 3) Did you ask ANYONE at a local level if there might have been problems with
- the networking capabilities of your computer system during the time in
- question?
-
- Before making a whomping generalization about an FTP service, it would be best
- to inquire, gently, whether the rest of the world has been having similar
- problems, or if it just from your small part of the world that things have not
- been running smoothly.
-
- Your e-mail message could have been readdressed to Jeff's new addresses, which
- he's posted at least once in this forum since he started graduate school at
- the University of Minnesota, in late September.
