-
- Slot Control Panel Setting Slot Contains
- 1 Printer Port <nothing>
- 2 Your Card Apple High Speed SCSI
- 3 80 Column Firmware <nothing>
- 4 Mouse <nothing>
- 5 SmartPort <nothing>
- 6 Drive Port <nothing>
- 7 AppleTalk MDIdeas Stero Card
-
-
- If you have ROM 3, put the SCSI card in slot 4, the mouse will work in 16- but
- not 8-bit apps. Else, you could put SCSI in slot 6, sacrificing 5.25" drives,
- no big loss. Also, try the stereo card in slot 3 or 4 or anything else. I don't
- think the slot needs to be set to the stereo card for anything, since I believe
- most stereo cards do everything via the Ensoniq chip. (The Ensoniq chip as A/D
- circuits -- except for Audio Animator and I think MDIdeas Pro card, it does the
- digitizations, not the card.
-
-
-
- If you use Proterm, you need not set the modem port to the port, but can use
- "your card," so you can put the MDIdeas card there.
