- G'day all,
-
- In the process of packing away my //e and hooking everything up to my //gs,
- came across the following problem:
-
- I can't get Appleworks 3.0 to use my parallel printer.
-
- Here's my setup:
-
- Rom 3 Apple //gs
- RamFAST 2.01 in slot 2 ("your card")
- Transwarp GS in slot 4
- Apple 3.5, Apple 5.25 (Slot 5 = smart port, Slot 6 = disk port (or whatever))
- The parallel card can be placed in slot 1 or slot 7 (set to "your card")
-
- The card works fine when I do an ordinary PR#1/7 from basic.
-
- My Appleworks 3.0 has Timeout extensions installed.
-
- Appleworks 3.0 displays the print thermometer and then proceeds to fill it up
- very quickly. Nothing goes out. (Yes, the printer is "Online" :-).
-
- This is even stranger when you consider that my //e was using the same exact
- Appleworks setup on the same hard drive with the same printer and parallel
- card and having no problems at all.
-
- Anyone got any ideas?
-
- Regards,
- Andrew
