- OK, jerky was the wrong word to use. I still think the animation in
- the (Super)Mario(Bros|Land|World|Paint|etc.)(1,2,3,4,...) is canned.
- The motion of Mario just cannot compare to something like Price of
- Persia or Out Of This World. "Canned" = 5 or 6 frames which give the
- illusion of running, 3 frames for jumping (begin jump, jumping,
- landing), etc. I don't *expect* some mass-appeal game like Mario to
- match the quality of OOTW, however. Methinks I will give Resource-
- Central a call tomorrow to place the order....
