- Well, if you used Copy II+, you should have solved the problem. If I remember
- correctly, Copy II+ does a number of things in ways against the rules, and one
- of them causes it to completely ignore the resource fork of files, so using
- Copy II+ should have stripped the resource fork (with the comment in) off the
- file.

- Notice I don't say that this is a *good* way to get rid of the resource fork,
- so if you later have problems with the file, this may have something to do
- with it...

- It's a good idea to make sure that you only use Copy II+ on files that *don't*
- have resource forks, for this very reason... I tend to be quite sparing in my
- use of Copy II+ these days, though it was really an outstanding piece of work
- when it first came out; Central Point just didn't keep up with the Apple II
- market unfortunately...
