- Powering a quantum (or possibly any) hard drive off your disk port can be
- detrimental to a stock power supply. After a few months mine refused to
- give the drive enough power to start up.
- Now i have a heavy duty supply and i could actually use the old supply
- to run the drive if i could find the right connector for the drive.
