  11. I have now released DOS 3.3 Launcher version 1.3.
  12. I'm sending out a few copies, and it should be available on your
  13. favourite electronic service within a few weeks.
  14. It has the following new features:
  15.  
  16. - Quit via control-reset as well as CDA.
  17. - Test launch option in copier.
  18. - Ability to turn keyboard buffering off automatically on launch.
  19. - Works with more "almost DOS 3.3 compatible" software.
  20. - Now uses correct ProDOS system file launch facilities (rather than
  21. the message center), which hopefully means it will work with other
  22. program launchers.
  23. - Cleaned up a few minor problems as suggested by users.

  25. I still haven't made the decision to complete version 2.0 which will,
  26. if completed, have the following features:
  27.  
  28. - Full read/write version (not just read only like version 1.0 -> 1.3).
  29. - The launcher will work on a //e or //c (with quit via control-reset),
  30. with no loss of functionality for the GS user.
  31. [I'm not ignoring those 2e user's sending mail - all replies bounce].
  32. - There will be a CDA to allow you to swap which "disks" are in which
  33. "drives".
