- The reason is that many game programmers came form other machines (or
- still write for other machines) where OS support is NIL. And they only
- considered the Hardware manual to be useful like in the old C64 days.

- And of course it can be easier to learn about the hardware than to learn
- about the OS if you are used to the former kind of programming.
