  13. This list of 2.1 features mentions improved floppy drive use.  I had the 
  14. impression from somewhere that this was to include support for HD floppy
  15. drives so 3rd party fixes like HDFixer would no longer be needed. Can 
  16. anyone confirm this is so?

  18. Also I am not really clear on the 2 packages (floppy disks only vs ROM +
  19. floppies.)  If I understand it some 3000's have Kickstart in ROM and AmigaDOS
  20. on the hard drive whereas others have everything in ROM. (Did I get that
  21. right?)  Will the floppy only kit work with the former type of 3000 or will
  22. it be necessary at this time to go to a ROM installation? (thereby giving up
  23. the ability to boot in 1.3 by holding down the mouse buttons.)
