  11. Just read the entry in sys.amiga.announce regarding Commodore at COMDEX.  Had
  12. the general, expected hyping about the AGA chipset again.  Noticed something
  13. different there...resolutions up to 1200X800!!!  I thought the top was 800X600
  14. or 1200X400 (X512 PAL).  In fact I remember a lot of people (including me)
  15. complaining about missing resolutions - like 1024X768 or 1200X800 - when the
  16. A4000 was released!

  18. Is this a typo?  Did I read incorrectly?  Or is 1200X800 for real?

  20. Also, I'm always running my A3000 with the deinterlace thing on.  I find all the
  21. interlaced modes unusable without it - I'm at my computer ~8 hours a day. I've
  22. got a 1950 model monitor.  What is the highest usable (deinterlaced) resolution
  23. on the A4000?  Would a better monitor (like Sony) produce a better, more
  24. stable display with interlaced modes?  If 1200X800 is stable on some monitors,
  25. I'd like a larger monitor than the 1950, to properly take advantage of the
  26. higher resolution.  What monitors would fit the bill?
