  14.     Like many people I have owned an A500 for years, (about7-8)
  15. and lately I really don't use it much more than once every two weeks
  16. for a little word proccessing.  I really can't get excited like I
  17. used to when it comes to animation etc.. since the A500 is just sooo
  18. slow.  I also had basically given up on AMIGA in general because
  19. they seemed to be dead in the water and third parties were only
  20. covering with expensive add-on's.
  21.     So anyways when I saw the adds for the A4000 I actually got
  22. a little excited.  I have always wanted to work with a video toaster
  23. but I have never had the money for either a toaster or a fast
  24. machine.  Well I have a decent job at the moment but It'll be a
  25. while before I can make an investment of $4000 or so for a new
  26. machine.  The thing that got me excited about the A4000 was that I
  27. think that I could have a lot of fun without a video toaster and
  28. after I had it for a while I could possibly invest in a toaster. 
  29.     My concern is how much potetial does this new chip set
  30. really have. (The A500 used to run some lousy software but over the
  31. years, the full potetial was finally realized) And also,  how do you
  32. think the company will do finacially, is this a comeback in the
  33. market or a last ditch effort?   So send me your oppinions and
  34. anything about the A4000 because I'd like to start enjoying Amiga's
  35. again!
