-
- Because the A4000-030 will cost a LOT more - probably around $2000
- (American). The A1200 will be what, about $600 or so? Thats a large gap.

-
- Doubtfull. Probably just wishfull thinking/speculation.

-
- ? The A4000-030 will cost a LOT more than the A2000. I consider the
- A4000-030 to be a replacement for the A3000, and the A4000-040 as pushing
- up the high end to new levels. The A1200 is somewhat of a replacement for
- the A500, but it really just fills a gap that was never filled before.

-
- We need a broader range of machines.
-
- We need:
-
- A600/A600HD $400/$600
- A1200/A1200HD $600/$800
-
- "A2200" (or whatever you want to call it):
- 16Mhz '030, HD standard, 2 meg chip/1 fast (with SIMM sockets for exp),
- AGA of course, detached keyboard / 'pizza box' case, 2 Zorro slots, price
- of around $1500.
-
- A4000-030 $2000.
- A4000-EC040 $2500. (uses EC 040)
- A4000-040 $3000. (current A4000)
- A4000T-040 $4000. (Tower, 5 Zorro slots, *SCSI*, 33Mhz 040 card)
