- I modified the Newsgroups field to exclude c.s.a.programmer and include
- c.s.a.applications.

-
- There is no need to port LaTeX for the Amiga; LaTeX is a set of macros
- written in the TeX language. If you have a TeX compiler, you can copy
- LaTeX macro files from many TeX archive sites and build your own LaTeX
- ``compiler''. Read the comp.text.tex newsgroup for more information
- about TeX and various TeX archive sites.

- Try wuarchive.wustl.edu. There is an excellent public domain port of
- TeX called PasTeX. Look in the Amiga directory for the following
- subdirectory: utilities/text/utils/pastex-1.3. A minimal working
- system (compile, preview and print) requires the 5-disk TeX set and
- some of the ``previewfonts'' disks. If you want to generate your own
- bitmapped font files for previewing and printing, you will need the
- Metafont font generator distribution as well.
