- The Amiga equivalent to the Mac cut and paste is called the ClipBoard. Some
- applications support it others do not. Of the application that I use the
- ones that come to mind are ProWrite 3.3, GNU Emacs, Bars and Pipes Pro., and
- the CLI window. I can mark a piece of text in one application, cut it into the
- clipboard, go to the other application and paste it in.
-
- For a graphics example, I can save a brush from DPaint, Imagemaster, etc.
- to RAM:. I then go to the ProWrite or Pagestream window and simply import
- the brush.
-
- Not quite as slick as dragging a box across windows but works quite well
- and is relatively painless.
-
- I've not tried Snap and so can't comment on it.
