- I too had the same slowing going on in my GVP Series II HD 8+. Mine had (and still has)
- 4 Mb of FAST RAM in it. The power supply always get really hot. When the fault developed
- I had problems reading from the disk during these slowing down periods : 'READ WRITE ERROR
- ON.......' - you know the one!

- I sent mine back to the place where I bought it and they sent it on to GVP for me. After
- a couple of months I got it all back. A note was scribbled on a 'Post It' label
- saying something like: Could not find any fault. Power supply replaced as a precaution.

- So far mine's been O.K. but until I've had this new supply for a few years I'm not going
