  25.    Two points: First, I have had great luck with taking Unix software
  26. and recompiling for the Amiga and running--I often spend more time
  27. looking for things to change than changing things.  Presumably, if
  28. they are marketing for Unix (instead of just Sun SPARC), they will
  29. need to deliver source or some mythical ANDF, so a homebrew Amiga port
  30. is not out of the question.

  32.     Second, the size of the potential market is determined by both the
  33. number of available machines and the percentage of machine owners who
  34. will buy.  If the OED software for the Amiga is well written, it might
  35. enjoy a MUCH larger market than an MS-DOS version that is impossible
  36. to configure as a TSR.
