- Oh well, spmething else gone to the dogs. I personally am not impressed
- with Seagate. I have in my possession an 85 MB Seagate HD that suffers
- from stiction problems, so I called them to find out how much it would
- be to repair/replace. The lady on the other end was "less than friendly",
- actually, she was just short of being "snotty" and informed me for that
- the low price of $160.00US they would gladly give me a refurbished
- 84(5) MB HD complete with a <drum role please> 90 <whole> day(s)
- warranty. Now, if I were to toss in a few bucks more <and shop elsewhere>
- I could purchase a brand new [and possibly larger] HD, hell, if I wanted to
- buy "used" I could probably get a drive twice that size from the NET for
- that cost...
-
-
- So much incentive to be a "loyal" customer I can hardly make up my mind
- on what to do <dripping sarcasim>.
