- Hi everybody!
-
- My five-day-old A4000 decided to take a vacation today. It will not
- reboot! Here is what happened:
-
- I rendered a 100 frame animation in Imagine which took about 20 hours so
- the computer ran overnight. When I turned the monitor on this morning,
- everything was fine. I wanted to load a 24-Bit picture into ADPro, but
- the memory was too fragmented. No problem! I hit the three-keys to
- reboot...the screen goes blank...hard disk led blinks..............and
- nothing! OK. I turn the computer off. Wait for 20 secs, turn it back on.
- Hard disk led blinks......nothing! Hit the three keys to reset.....the
- power led blinks in a couple of times...the hard disk led
- blinks......nothing!
-
- I suspect there is a problem with the hard drive spin-up, but it might
- be something else. Can anyone out there help!
-
- Please.
