  19. First you say that pirating is against the law, and therefore inexcusable.
  20. Now when confronted with a society which allows pirating without breaking
  21. a law, you want to throw it out as not pertinent.

  23. People disobey laws which they do not agree with all of the time.  Perhaps
  24. you don't, and that is interesting, but we are not talking about JUST you,
  25. and your belief that American Law is one True Religion.

  27. By the way, "Copyright Law" is not a single standard entity.  It baries
  28. greatly all around the world, and when a nation-state holds a different
  29. policy and therefore a different view on the subject, it does not mean
  30. they do not recognize this "Copyright Law" of yours, it means they have
  31. their own.
