  15. I am currently trying to put together a document using PasTeX1.3 (on my
  16. Amiga 500). It includes several e(e)pic pictures, that were created using
  17. fig.
  18.  
  19. The .fig files were converted to .tex files, by using:
  20.  
  21. fig2dev -L epic file.fig file.tex, and/or
  22. fig2dev -L eepic file.fig file.tex
  23.  
  24. Now, when it comes to previewing them on my Amiga, I get lots of:
  25. "Found no special program" messages, unless I am first running SpecialHost,
  26. in which case everything previews fine.
  27.  
  28. Of couse, I can now no longer print/preview the .dvi file here at university
  29. as they do not have an equivalent special host program. (Indeed Latex'd
  30. files including xfig figs do not print properly if they contain circles, or
  31. curves)
  32.  
  33. I guess looking at the epic, and eepic style files, the problems occur
  34. because they create /special commands.
  35.  
  36. Is there any way around this? Or is there a (more) portable e(e)pic style
  37. file?
