- Hello there,
-
- I am currently trying to put together a document using PasTeX1.3 (on my
- Amiga 500). It includes several e(e)pic pictures, that were created using
- fig.
-
- The .fig files were converted to .tex files, by using:
-
- fig2dev -L epic file.fig file.tex, and/or
- fig2dev -L eepic file.fig file.tex
-
- Now, when it comes to previewing them on my Amiga, I get lots of:
- "Found no special program" messages, unless I am first running SpecialHost,
- in which case everything previews fine.
-
- Of couse, I can now no longer print/preview the .dvi file here at university
- as they do not have an equivalent special host program. (Indeed Latex'd
- files including xfig figs do not print properly if they contain circles, or
- curves)
-
- I guess looking at the epic, and eepic style files, the problems occur
- because they create /special commands.
-
- Is there any way around this? Or is there a (more) portable e(e)pic style
- file?
-
- Martin.
