  12.       Let's get one thing clear here:
  13. A 25mhz 68040 wipes the floors with a 25mhz 486, and can compete even with
  14. 486/33s (is somewhat faster).  I'm not sure, but I think the 68040 is
  15. internally 50mhz.  Also, I'd expect the floating point for the 68060 to be
  16. good (considering Motorola has always had superior FP).  Let's not forget
  17. that if IBM had waited a few months to make their first PC, that they
  18. would be using Motorola chips, not Intel (the crap inside).
