- Let's get one thing clear here:
- A 25mhz 68040 wipes the floors with a 25mhz 486, and can compete even with
- 486/33s (is somewhat faster). I'm not sure, but I think the 68040 is
- internally 50mhz. Also, I'd expect the floating point for the 68060 to be
- good (considering Motorola has always had superior FP). Let's not forget
- that if IBM had waited a few months to make their first PC, that they
- would be using Motorola chips, not Intel (the crap inside).
