- I'd like to get some input on the differences/advantages/disadvantages/
- etc.. of the 1950 and 1960 multisync monitors.
-
- I recently sold a 2000 system of mine that had a flicker fixer and
- a 1950 - LOVED the picture, and never had any problems with the 1950.
-
- I now have a 3000 with a new 1960, and I don't like the picture near
- as well. The 1960 is 'blurier' than the 1950, and I don't like the way it
- handles overscan. The picture tube seems more 'rounded' than the 1950,
- and the graphics/text 'bend' towards the end of the screen - I don't have
- this problem when using a 1950.
-
- What is the difference here? I know the 1960 is a .28 dot pitch as
- opposed to the .30 or .31 of the 1950, and I'm told it is much more
- reliable - but I would think with the higher dot pitch the picture would
- be clearer, not fuzzier. And it's not just my monitor - every other
- 1960 that I've seen looks the same way.
-
- Thanks in advance.
