- I have recently purchased a DCTV and a HP500C. These both go into the
- parallel ports so I bought a resonably priced manual switcher so either
- the DCTV works, or the HP500C. This is fine, until I tried using my
- SoundTrapIII audio digitiser. This SoundTrapIII has a through port so
- technically the information should go through the SoundTrapIII to the
- switcher box (or the DCTV or the HP500C or both) without any problems,
- right? WRONG! And you don't win the toaster oven!
-
- If I have the SoundTrapIII plugged in and then the HP500C plugged into
- that, I can print, but all the CR's seem to be filtered out before they
- reach the printer, which means I can fit HEAPS on a page, but limites the
- documents readability somewhat.
-
- If I have the SoundTrapIII plugged in and then the DCTV plugged into
- that, I get all sorts of psycho-mind-blowing bullcrak with the picture
- (IF I'M LUCKY), although it's turned my Amiga into one of the most
- "Abstract" effect generators, I really would like to be able to have the
- SoundTrapIII plugged in AND have the switcher coming off that WITHOUT
- having to take a really excellent acid-trip whilst trying to edit the
- 24bit pictures.
-
- If any brother or sister has any ideas into why this this ain't doin'
- what its damn well told, please tell me so I can kick some serious ass
- one my ultimate machine (Amiga) without having to remove the parallel
- cables all the time. Damn right, and peace be with ya children.
-
- Praise da lord, amen.
