- A friend of mine has picked up a ~400 Mb Maxtor SCSI drive which is
- configured for 1024 byte blocks. Maxtor have given him instructions on
- how to switch this to 512 byte blocks, which basically involve modifying
- a value in code page 3 in the drive's configuration.
-
- So, I'm looking for some software on his behalf that allows code pages
- to be edited. Amiga would be nice, but he can probably get access to a
- Mac, PC or NeXT system if necessary.
-
- If necessary, I can always write a quick hack to do the job through
- scsi.device; I'm a bit a bit fuzzy on how code pages are addressed via
- SCSI though, so any pointers in this direction would be appreciated.
-
- Thanks,
- Eddy
