- A while ago (say 3 yrs ago) I purchased the Centaur Autoboot board for the
- 2090. It basically did what Commodore had announced the 2090b would do. It
- came with new prep software and required the romboot.library (no longer a
- a part of 2.x). The nice thing about this card is that it came with new
- prep software which would allow the whole drive as a FFS partition and
- everything. The prep software continued to function under 2.04 even though
- the card didn't (well, this was actually 2.02 at the time). Anyway, if
- you can get a hold of that software from Centaur, you can prep for FFS
- with one partition. Note 2.0x does autobooting differently, so you won't
- still be able to autoboot, but none the less the software is useful.,
